When We Look Back from Eternity

When, from eternity, we look back at the angst, hardship and troubles of this life, they will seem as small as our once-menacing kindergarten worries seem to us now. What will remain from our time in these weak bodies, however, will be how those trials shaped us. Did we draw on God’s strength in our weakness or choose defeatism? Did we grow in wisdom and compassion or choose bitterness? Did we become more effective servants or choose withdrawal from the needs of others?  If we choose the first of each of these, we will be preparing to shepherd in eternity with Jesus in his Eternal Kingdom of Light.
